Watersheds
A watershed is a defined area that drains into one surface water feature. The largest watershed in Putnam County is the Big Walnut Creek Watershed. The Putnam County SWCD participates in the Big Walnut Watershed Alliance, an organization that is dedicated to improving the water quality in the Big Walnut Creek and its tributaries.
